100 Days Of Empties

Hi ladies,
If you're active in the beauty community on instagram I'm sure you've seen the 100 days of empties or 100 days of beauty hashtag. Some beauties have been doing this as a way to get through items and at the same time using it as a 100 day no buy. For those unfamiliar with "no buys" it's when you don't buy any beauty related/unnecessary items for whatever time frame you choose. No buys are too hard for me to do and 100 days seems almost impossible especially because the holidays are right around the corner. For me, the 100 days of empties will be used as a reminder to use products I just have laying around. If I don't use it they will eventually expire and that is a waste of money. So.... I plan on finishing 100 products by February 17, 2015 and posting a weekly picture on my instagram. In addition, I will be posting a little more information on those empties here on my blog. I don't know about you but I like seeing what people have used up to see if it's something that can work for me or let me know that a product is not worth purchasing. I hope you guys join me for this 100daysofempty journey. Tag me in your empties on instagram. I want to see what you guys finish! :)

Mini Rite Aid Haul

Hi Beauties! Earlier this week I went to Rite Aid because I saw that all Revlon products were 40% and all NYC products are buy one get one FREE. I've seen many people talk about the NYC bronzer in Sunny and thought this would be a good time to pick it up. I was also watching  Kathleen Lights on YouTube and she mentioned that the NYC liquid eyeliner was perfect for newbies and I wanted to pick that up as well.
Like I mentioned Revlon products are 40% off with your Rite Aid card. You can also rack up on the savings by printing out the coupons on the video values section of the website. Currently there is a $3 off a Revlon face product, $4 off of 2 lip products $2 off a $5 eye or Revlon tools purchase along with a couple others for different brands click beauty. There is one more coupon you can add to this Manufacturer's coupon $2 off Revlon face products you can get a Revlon BB/CC cream, foundation, concealer, blush, or primer for a couple of dollars.

Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation

Good news beauties!!! The very talked about Rimmel Stay Matte Foundations are now 50% off at Walgreens. That's right 50%. There is a $1 coupon on redplum.com which would make the savings a little sweeter but I had a difficult time printing it out and sadly ended up being unsuccessful. Even without the coupon it ends up being a great deal.

The first Walgreens I went to did not have the 50% off signage and I did not bother asking for a price check because they did not have the shade I felt was closest to my skin tone. I ended up going to a different Walgreens and saw the display for the Stay Matte in the front. There was a $1 tear pad coupon right on it and I took a couple. When I walked to the Rimmel section of the store all of the Stay Matte foundations where marked 50% off of $5.74 coming out to $2.74.

This foundation comes in eight shades; light ivory, ivory, soft beige, sand, light porcelain, true ivory, classic beige, true beige. If you're not able to get to a store or have a Walgreens near by, the sale is also going on online click here this sale also includes the Stay Matte Primer which retails for $6.99 which ends up being $3.49. This sale is going until the end of March but I wouldn't wait till then, I'm sure they'll go fast.

Let's Recap:
Rimmel Stay Matte foundation: retail$5.74 - 50% off =2.74 - $1 coupon = $1.74
Rimmel Stay Matte Primer: retail $6.99 - 50% off = $3.49- $1 coupon = $2.49

You can't beat this deal. This is a great stock up price if you already love the product and an even better price if you just want to try it out like me.
